Fiesta championships looking set for best ever seasons

Some of the best club level racing in the UK last year was provided by the BRSCC Fiesta and Fiesta Junior championships and it's already looking like 2017 will be even better. With more drivers, more races and a chance for the champion to test Motorbase's BTCC car, the competition in the senior championship is going to be red hot.
The junior championship is set to be fierce as well, in the few short years that it's been running for, it has already gained a reputation for being one of the best junior racing series in the UK, as recognised by Downforce Radio who voted it the best junior series in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Traditional host for the season finale, Brands Hatch, has gained a new position as the season opener with three races from the seniors and two from the juniors on the weekend of April eighth and ninth. Cadwell Park, Silverstone (twice), Rockingham, Snetterton and Croft play host to the following rounds with the championships reaching their finale at the Donington Park National circuit on October fourteenth and fifteenth. Each track plays host to two junior class races but, with the exception of Cadwell and Rockingham, there will be three senior class races each weekend, raising their total from sixteen to twenty three races. The seven extra races will provide additional opportunity for drivers to show what they're made of and should lead to some fantastically competitive racing.

Snetterton hosted the season opener last season but Brands Hatch takes that place for 2017
There's an added bonus for this year's champion as well: a test in the Motorbase BTCC Ford Focus. This means that this season's overall champion will have an additional stepping stone into the world of British Touring Cars - the dream for many competitors in the championship. Drivers from any of the four classes can win this prize so it isn't just the Class C cars out front who will have a shot at it; this adds an extra level of competitiveness to the new season. Sadly, but understandably, the prize does not extend to the juniors.
With few names currently on the entry list, it's not yet fully known as to who will be on the gird but if the past few seasons have been anything to go by, it'll be an incredibly competitive field with several potential winners in every single class. And with highlights of every race on the BRSCC Youtube Channel as well various other media outlets covering both championships, there certainly isn't an excuse for anyone to miss this season's races and trust me, you're not going to want to!
