Rounds seven and eight

The first half of the championship ended exactly where it started - Norfolk and the Snetterton 300 circuit. Alastair Kellett seemed unbeatable in qualifying so far this season and that continued into Snetterton as Kellett made it four poles from four sessions. Jessica King would line up second, just over half a second behind. Jamie White was just three hundredths of a second behind in third while Jack Youhill, Stuart Robbins and John Cooper came next, all over a second behind White.

Kellett would make the best start in race one to lead at the end of the first lap with King and White in hot pursuit. Initially it was Jessica King who provided the closest challenge however her pace gradually dropped off and Jamie White made his way up into second place. From here, White set about chasing down Kellett but he couldn't quite do it. Kellett took the win by just under two tenths of a second. White continued his run of podium finishes and was close to getting his first class win. King eventually dropped nearly two seconds back but remained in third with Jack Youhill behind in what was a rather lonely fourth place. Stuart Robbins and Tim Glover spent the race battling over fifth with Robbins ending up on top by less than a tenth of a second.

With the race two grid decided by the results from race one, Alastair Kellett would yet again be on pole with White alongside. Disaster struck early though, on the first corner Jessica King got tipped into a spin and Dana Freeman had nowhere to go. Both were out on the spot. As the race restarted, Kellett took the lead and he would stay there for the rest of the race. At one point his lead was up to five seconds although Jamie White fought back and eventually finished just under three seconds behind. Stuart Robbins had an unchallenged run to third although John Cooper was able to keep him honest, one and half seconds splitting the pair. Jack Youhill rounded out the top five.

Rounds nine and ten

The ultra fast Castle Combe circuit in Wiltshire was the host for the first two races of the second half of the season. Yet again, Alastair Kellett was the fastest driver in qualifying but a great lap from Stuart Robbins put him second and less than a tenth behind Kellett. Jamie White came next, a further two tenths back. John Cooper and Jessica King rounded out the top five.

The start for race one was reasonably clean but a few laps in and things very quickly went wrong. An ABS failure on John Cooper's car speared him into the class C car of Nick Sanderson and both were out of the race in spectacular fashion. After a red flag to clear the incident it was Alastair Kellett who broke away out front to take yet another class victory, well over four seconds clear of Stuart Robbins who took an excellent second place. Jamie White continued to impress in his first season of the championship as he claimed another podium place. Jack Youhill took fourth with former points leader Jessica King in fifth.

Race two and again Alastair Kellett took an early lead but Jamie White wasn't going down without a fight. He threw everything imaginable at Kellett and ended up taking the class victory by just four tenths of a second. This was only the second time in ten races that Kellett hadn't won. John Cooper recovered from his race one ABS problems to take third after a race long battle with Stuart Robbins. Jessica King would end up fifth.

After ten races, it's no surprise to see Alastair Kellett leading the championship with 281 points. Stuart Robbins' consistency sees him second with 262 point. Former points leader Jessica King is now third but only four points ahead of Jack Youhill. Despite missing the first two races, Jamie White is fifth with 224 points. With six races remaining, the field really need Kellett to make a few mistakes if anyone is to have a hope of posing a serious threat for the championship.
